We Are 'Good To Go'

We Are 'Good To Go'

What does that mean?

We have read and are complying with Scottish Government Advice & our Scottish Government Approved Industry Guidelines for running our business

We have looked closely at how we operate and completed a Risk Assessment to ensure that we can offer you and us the best level of protection

We and our cleaners have completed approved online training for COVID-19 cleaning.

Are you welcome in our area?

Yes, you are!

Our local shops and businesses have worked hard to change the way they work to welcome us all

There are also options to order and collect and even some delivery options

It is Mandatory in Scotland to wear a face covering inside a shop and on public transport

Please read notices on Business Doors before entering

Do bring and use hand sanitiser, when out and about, supplies are limited here

How will we be operating?

We have chosen to leave a minimum of 1 night between our bookings, for the time being

Why is this?

We will be carrying out an intensive clean and want enough time to do this

Are we offering short breaks during the pandemic?

For the time being we will only be offering stays of 7 nights or longer.

*We may, on occasion, release shorter breaks only to utilise gaps between bookings (4-6 nights)

Why is this?

There is a high labour / time application for each booking, an additional, uncosted, minimum gap of 1 night between bookings and due to quarantining bedding a finite stock.

Cleaning

How have we changed our cleaning procedures?

We have always maintained an extensive, itemised, room by room clean with a checklist. Now we have a disinfect step after our usual clean, which includes a detailed room by room, mist with a disinfectant spray (ie including inside cupboards /drawers, soft furnishings) and a further, hand applied disinfect of all switches and handles

We will be swapping our Duvets after each stay (a minimum of 5 nights before re-use). Pillows are protected by 2 cases and a protector, which are washed after each use and pillows quarantined or treated with disinfectant

You have the option to bring your own pillows and/or duvets. If you choose to do this, please let us know in plenty of time

Guests are expected (unless not physically able) to strip their own bedding prior to departure and only beds that are to be used will be made up.

We will be wearing PPE during our cleaning procedure to protect you and us

We will be treating each clean as if the SARS-COV-2 virus is present

Why is this?

Medical evidence suggests that people without symptoms can and do readily spread SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19, and we wish to give our guests the highest practicable level of service.

What will we be using to Disinfect?

We have chosen to use a virucidal disinfectant, which is effective against the SARS-COV 2 VIRUS and is not harmful to humans or pets. Hypochlorous Acid in the form of Dew & Envirolyte Products (ELECTROLYSED Water - fascinating reading!)

All of the above information is subject to change, depending on any new Government Advice This Page last updated 21st Jan 2021 Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book :0)

"There are two routes by which COVID-19 can be spread:
Directly: from close contact with an infected person
Indirectly: by touching a surface, object or the hand of an infected person that has been contaminated with respiratory secretions and then touching own mouth, nose or eyes.
Under most circumstances, the amount of infectious virus on any contaminated surfaces is likely to have decreased significantly by 72 hours.
We know that similar viruses are transferred to and by people’s hands. Therefore, frequent hand hygiene and regular decontamination of frequently touched environmental and equipment surfaces will help to reduce the risk of infection transmission."
